Based in Santee, California, our family-owned pet supply store was founded after a deeply personal journey with our own pets who suffered from chronic health issues, multiple vet visits, and costly treatments that offered little relief. Despite repeated claims that “food wasn’t the issue,” we discovered firsthand that nutrition makes all the difference.
Once we switched to higher quality food, we saw a dramatic improvement in our pets’ health, energy, skin, and coat. That transformation inspired us to open Village Pet & Feed, a community-focused pet store built on trust, education, and real wellness.
We proudly offer a curated selection of premium dog food, cat food, raw food, gently cooked food, supplements, natural treats, and holistic nutrition products designed to help pets thrive—not just survive. The name “Village Pet & Feed” honors our deep local roots, going back to our family patriarch George Wood, who founded Village Carpets & Interiors in San Diego in 1992. Today, that tradition continues in Santee as Village Flooring & Renovations, still operated by the Julian family.
